What Gandhi video ?

Okay, so today morning, I picked up Times of India and I saw this on the frontpage :

with Gandhi video
2 TV Channels Also Face Fire, Give Immediate Apology

It mentioned that a New York based NRI comedian Gautham Prasad video shot his stand up comedy show.
It also says that the clip shows Gandhi doing a pole dance, bashing up hoodlums, stripping and dining with women...
Now I'd like to point out, that's wrong !

Here's the video from Gautham Prasad. It features ONLY him, doesn't even show a hint of Gandhi :

So, I did some more searching, and found another video that was exactly like the one TOI described. Only that it was from Weird Al Yankovich's comedy movie UHF.

What I don't understand is why do newspapers print incorrect news and flame people who are not even responsible for it ?

The Covenant is a rotten movie

Why would you go watch a movie with no known cast, male witches fighting one another with pathetic dialouges ? Do NOT waste your money on this movie. It doesn't muster much horror; it's more nonsensical than scary.

Four morons at an elite school - Spencer's, happen to have a sacred ancestry, they posses supernatural powers.

There was also a 5th bloodline in this ancestry. However they were banished. But one descendant survives. He causes havoc.

So why can't I get my hands on this ? It costs £2,432.25 after I customize it to my needs. That's like Rs. 209977.5. Almost two lakh, ten thousand rupees. I don't even have the balls to ask my parents about this one...

The Dheeraj Affair

Newspapers write farce.

Take this article from HT:

"...the youth, Dheeraj S Malhotra (24), opened the emergency exit door before the airline employees could react..."

Dheeraj is my classmate in college; he's 18. What I don't understand is, why would a mouse jump into the lion's mouth ? So if you're reading this right now, post your comments on why he would do it.

"Malhotra is a student of NM College, Vile Parle, and stays with his relatives in the city."

Dheeraj was in my hostel and shifted hostels due to roommate conflicts.

In a way, it serves Air Deccan right. It seemed it was the only airline which cancels its flights without making appropriate arrangements for its passengers.
